I had a little moment … time stood still for a second as I watched my little girl play on my iPhone, thrilled out of her skin to have the headphones on (major thrill) and be allowed to ‘work’ next to mommy in her office. In that time and space I felt so lucky to be able to experience this. It affirmed every reason for my choice of working from home and just watching this little human in her element swept away all the irritating interruptions, late nights and long hours it takes to manage a business from home. And yes, it was beautiful, even in it’s fleeting glory! Even as I write this I can tell you that by the time I’d taken the pics and done a quick edit the frustration of learning her new game bubbled up and culminated in the whining and tears at the end of a long day. The moment was gone … but it was worth it.
